What Am I Reading? 2021 Edition

Following on from my last blog, I thought I would share the books I have worked through for the 2020/21 financial year and the ones I have left in the pile to try and work through before the end of the 2021 calendar year.

Some of the books below I have never picked up before, others are a re-read to find new connections or insights to apply.

So what have I been reading? (in no particular order)

  • Relentless – Tim Grover

  • Atomic Habits – James Clear

  • The Sleep Revolution – Arianna Huffington

  • Change Your World – John Maxwell

  • W1NNING – Tim Grover

  • The Greatest Salesman In The World – OG Mandino

  • Greenlights – Matthew McConaughey

  • The Infinite Game – Simon Sinek

  • 30 Days Of Intentional Living – John Maxwell

  • Leaders Eat Last – Simon Sinek

  • The Lost Art of Closing – Anthony Iannarino

  • New Sales. Simplified – Mike Weinberg

  • Do The Work – Steven Pressfield

  • Tribes – Seth Godin

  • Give and Take – Adam Grant

  • Legacy – James Kerr

In The List To Read (in no particular order)

  • The Brain That Changes Itself – Norman Doidge

  • The Brain’s Way Of Healing (thanks Henry for these two recommendations)

  • #Maxout Your Life – Ed Mylett

  • The Power of Habit – Charles Duhigg

  • Eleven Rings – Phil Jackson

  • Virtual Selling – Mike Schults, Dave Shaby, Andy Springer

  • Keep Going – Austin Kleon

  • The 1% Rule – Tommy Baker

  • Inked – Jeb Blount

  • Breath – James Nestor

  • The War Of Art – Steven Pressfield

  • Platform – Michael Hyatt

It’s unlikely I will get through all of these by Christmas given the size of some of them and the way I like to work through books, but I feel there are some great reads here.

If any of the books in the list above jump out to you or you would like my thoughts before you purchase them then don’t hesitate to drop me a message.

What have you read previously or recently that I should add to my list for 2022? I’d love some recommendations for next year. Or a great fiction book? (I haven’t listed the fiction books I have read above but always looking for a great new fiction read as well!)
