20 Reflections From 2020!

2020………Is that a dirty word now? What a year!

Through the break over Christmas I had the time to reflect on the year, my notes/journal and thoughts and wanted to share with you 20 key reflections I had over this time.

In the spirit of numbers I will also share my 21 actions tomorrow on how you can go the next level in 2021.

Here are 20 of my reflections from this year:

1) You can always find a way

2) There is strength in vulnerability

3) True friends are revealed in times of challenge. Cherish them, thank them

4) Empathy is a ‘doing’ word!

5) Spend more time with people you love. Tell them how you feel, the impact they have had on your life. Leave nothing unsaid.

6) Find daily time to sit in prayer/meditation and reflection

7) You can create the life you want, regardless of the time you are in

8) Ask for help from experts, you’ll be surprised how open they are to share value

9) Trust your intuition but have a robust decision making framework

10) Better questions = Better answers

11) You can always improve your listening skills

12) Adversity is reduced through a strong routine and discipline

13) Make sure each day you are adding value to others

14) Encourage those around you, often!

15) Set personal standards across areas of your life. Don’t flex on these. Your standards form your character

16) Always look for possibilities and opportunities

17) Be bold, have courage

18) Surround yourself with wise counsel and people who are not afraid to challenge you

19) Improvement is always a daily habit! Seek this constantly

20) Fill your life with things you love to do!

2020 was a tough year for many as change was thrust upon us all, however there are so many lessons that you can take from this year if you evaluate your experience.
